My name is Graeme Paff and in July 1999 I took my first passenger from Newcastle to Sydney Airport. From that day the Happy Cabby started to grow by word of mouth.

I realised very quickly that I could not always rely on flights being on time and with passengers on different flights this was a major problem to me. The only way I could see around this problem was to have access to more buses, so I teamed up with another business called Novastar Shuttle Services. After working together very successfully for 12 months, I bought the business which then gave me a total of 2 buses.

My vision always was to provide a service that got passengers to their flights at a reasonable time and was able to get passengers home with not too long a wait after their flight. Taking every opportunity to buy more buses along the way, Happy Cabby now boasts a fleet of 18 buses ranging from 9 to 23 seats and has 9 – 12 buses travelling to Sydney Airport and return every day. Should a flight now be delayed we don't have to keep passengers waiting as the delayed passengers can often go onto the next bus.

I pride myself that Happy Cabby is the only airport shuttle service operating from Newcastle that can provide this high level of service. With a great professional team working with me Happy Cabby has now provided transport for over 500,000 passengers to and from Sydney Airport.
